1) Essentials Interview – The foundation of a great biographical documentary is a great interview, and that's just what we provide here. Professional sound recording and camera work, complemented by our sensitive and skilled interviewers, ensure a broadcast quality piece that captures faithfully each subject's unique character. This Preservation Production will not include the music or secondary visual materials (like family photos or home-movies) that are provided with our more full-featured packages, and will be minimally edited – just the essentials. This 60-120 minute documentary includes:

  • titles
  • a 2 hour interview with the subject(s)
  • 2 DVDs of final product

2) The Personal History Montage package is ideal for those who would prefer a shorter documentary with no subject interview. The montage is an artful juxtaposition of archival media and music on screen. Cherished photos are animated with elegant camera moves—bringing well choreographed meaning and artistry to the film. This 10-20 minute piece includes:

  • 60-90 photographs/slides
  • home movies/home video
  • artifacts & keepsake clips
  • 2 DVDs with final product
  • PRICE: $1350–1650

3) The Standard Personal History Documentary package is our most popular option. We have found that a biography of this length can capture the highlights of a person's life and convey the essence of the person. This length is also appropriate for viewing at an event. This 20-30 minute documentary includes:

  • music
  • titles
  • 3 hour interview with one subject
  • 10-15 minutes of archival media, including,
  • 60-90 photographs/slides
  • home movies/home video
  • artifacts & keepsake clips
  • 2 DVDs with final product

4) The Extended Personal History Documentary package is for those who are looking to capture more of the details of a person's life and produce a more intimate, in-depth look at that person's story. The additional length is recommended for those interested in including the added perspective of other interviewees. This 40-60 minute documentary includes:

  • music

  • 6 hours of interviews with 1-3 subjects
  • 20-30 minutes of archival media, including,
  • 60-90 photographs/slides
  • home movies/home video
  • artifacts & keepsake clips
  • 2 DVDs of final product
